My 9 pound Shibahuahua fits perfectly in the bag, and he seems content. My gripe is that the leash inside appears to be on the wrong side of the bag. How does it keep your dog inside, when it reaches outside the bag. In fact, it makes using it, dangerous, if the dog is attached to the leash and jumps out, it will hang or fall out of their collar. This is a serious design flaw.

I got this carrier for my daughter-in-law, since she just got a little ragdoll kitten. This bag is large enough for her to move around comfortably. The only thing is that she is so small that she can escape very easily, so the bag won’t be useful until she grows a bit. In the meantime, she is getting use to being in the bag in the safety of their apartment, so when she’s ready to go outside in the bag, there she’ll already be comfortable in it. Very fashionable and soft!

This new soft cat carrier definitely has made trips to the vet a little easier, we have a lot less of a struggle to get the cats into it. I really like how soft it is, the tote style is nice and simple and provides some extra padding for the cats inside. It’s secure once the cat is inside and a lot easier to carry than the hard shell kind. Very happy with it!

I got this carrier for my little Pom Baby. He loves to go everywhere with me and I wanted something more stylish to be able to carry him in the store with me. He is about 8lbs, so he is not the smallest but he fits comfortably in this bag. I love the clip for the collar because even though he fits in the bag, he loves to get out of it to meet people. It is very sturdy and shows to be built with great quality materials. I like that the bottom is removable and allows for my dog to feel supported. There is also some great features that the bag has for my needs like the pockets. I am able to carry my essential cards and my phone in them, eliminating the need for a purse. Also of course, they are big enough to carry a leash and any treats or snacks I might want to give him. It also has places where I can clip some poop bags while I’m out. This is such a perfect tote bag that when people see it, they ask me where I get it from and I send them the link to this page. Love this bag and I’m so grateful to have it!

My sweet Stella is only 5 lbs, and loves to be on the go with me. I have a sling bag that I put her in when I travel, but this one is great for every day running. This has plenty of room for her to turn around and get comfortable, even while hooked up inside. The pockets are great to throw my wallet, keys, treats and bags in The two straps will snap together to make sure they are secure when putting it on shoulder or to carry.
Because Stella is just a wee thing, this has plenty of room for her blanket to snuggle up on and a few of her little stuffies to keep her company. I’ve used this bag every time I leave the house with Stella and we both love it! Amazing quality, great price and perfect fit!

That said, I don’t see the side or strap options being practical for dogs weighing over 10 pounds.
The hard, removable bottom is a game-changer. It’s super supportive, stays securely in place with Velcro, and even allows you to wrap a puppy pad around it—perfect for mess prevention. The inside material isn’t too slippery either, which is a big plus for my chi-weenie, who tends to squirm when she feels unstable. With this carrier, she settles right in without any fuss.
Storage is another highlight. The spacious pouch easily fits essentials like a leash, treats, and my phone, while the zippers feel durable and smooth. My one critique is the outer material and the top edges. They’re a bit stiff for my dog to rest her head on comfortably, so I drape a small blanket over them. This might not be an issue for every pet, but it’s worth noting if you have a smaller or more sensitive dog.
Overall, the Pecute Dog Purse Carrier is a stylish and functional choice for small dog owners. While the material could be softer, the safety line, support, storage, and convenience make it a solid option for outings or travel.
There was no assembly required either.

This carrier is perfect for my 11 pound dog. Nice and roomy for him. My 16 pound dog also fits but it’s a bit snug to carry him in it. I think the weight limit is 12 pounds for this carrier. I brought my dog to the nail shop in it and all the ladies were fussing over how cute it was and wanted to know where I got it. It’s just perfect for my little dog. Beautiful simple modern design with elegant quilted fabric. Thank you.
